Gate
Opening this gate requires the keys of 2 authorized officers.
The gate will open once closed transactions are activated on mainnet.
How it will work
  1. In a closed transaction, the payer's and the recipient's permanent keys are encrypted with the key of the country where each is registered; the ID number is then found with that key in the on-chain registry. On-chain, everyone sees only an encrypted number, a country flag and the payment amount.
  2. Each country's key has two parts, delivered to two authorized officers of that country. One officer's key alone opens nothing.
  3. When both officers sign in together, only their own country's closed transactions open, showing ID numbers. Other countries' transactions stay closed.
  4. In the planned design, decryption happens in the officer's own browser and the key is never sent to the ZagrosRadar server. This point is not final yet.
  5. What opens is an ID number, not a name. To reach the person, the officer contacts the registration institution that issued the number; personal data is not stored on Zagros.
Open transactions stay public as they are today. Joint Audit applies only to closed transactions a user chooses to make.
